Hailmarybk is an independent travel journal. We write destination guides the way you would tell a friend where to go: what is genuinely worth the trip, the right season to see it, how to get there and roughly what it costs once you arrive.
The coverage starts close to home — the Black Sea and Sea of Azov, Baikal, the cities of the Golden Ring, ski resorts like Sheregesh, Crimea and Volgograd — and follows the routes travellers actually take outward from there: Turkey and Antalya, Georgia, Serbia and Bulgaria, the Gulf, and the odd long haul to Cuba, Mexico or the Taj Mahal.
